Piffle from Woodward & Falconer Beers

The perfect pint of Piffle

Woodward and Falconer believe the relationship between pub and local brewer should be re vitalized, so we went to work to find a small brewing partner to develop a brew which would suit our pubs and our customers.

Brewing is very much an art form and therefore requires artists, Neil and his team at Brimstage fitted the bill as passionate creators, so with our brief and guidelines went to work and came up with "Piffle".

Piffle definition

The name has been derived from heavy use of vents of frustration coming from our company accountant Adrian, who can be seen in the centre of our beer mats. We thought what better way to vent frustration than a good slug of great beer!!

Piffle has been created as a beautiful blond citrus beer, with immense flavours of orange and mango popping out to give a refreshing pint to enjoy at any time of the day. At 3.6% ABV we have deliberately kept the strength down to allow the ale to be enjoyed all day long.

We also believe our team have to be passionate about our product, so we work tirelessly to train and coach on the in and outs of the product. We carry out regular brewery training trips in order to instill a sense of confidence and knowledge of our brew into our team.
